Women (at DWS women includes both transgender and cisgender women) and their children can drop in to DWS.

What…

Pop by for:

  • a cup of tea and a chat

  • to borrow a book or movie from DWS’ Resource Library

  • to have a shower

  • to do some laundry

  • to take part in a drop-in social group

When…

Any day of the week from 9am until 7pm.


If it’s an emergency, please call 911. If you urgently need shelter, please call or drop by Dawson Women’s Shelter anytime.

On December 6th, we gather to remember women and children who have been murdered or are missing. The day was created in response to the Montreal Massacre.
